活性炭概述：

真假椰壳活性炭识别方法：
椰壳活性炭比煤质活性炭成本高许多，而且成品活性炭材质一般不容易被普通大众所识别。市场上常有不法销售商利用消费者无法识别材质的弱点，用煤质活性炭假冒椰壳活性炭销售，不管是民用还是工业用领域，此现象都较为严重。
以下是简单区分它们的几个方法：
1、椰壳活性炭属于果壳活性炭类别，其主要特点是密度小、手感轻，拿在手里的重量明显比煤质活性炭轻。相同重量的活性炭，椰壳活性炭体积一般大于煤质活性炭。
2、椰壳活性炭形状一般为破碎颗粒状、片状，而成型活性炭，如柱状、球状活性炭，多为煤质炭。
3、因椰壳活性炭密度小，手感轻，因此可以将活性炭放到水里，煤质炭一般沉底较快，而椰壳活性炭浮在水中的时间更长，随着活性炭吸附水分子达到饱和，加重自身重量才会逐步全部沉入水底，当活性炭全部沉底后，会看见每颗活性炭外面都包裹着一个小气泡，晶莹剔透，非常有趣。
4、椰壳活性炭为小分子孔隙结构，将活性炭放到水里，其吸附水分子时所排空气会产生许多非常细小的水泡（肉眼刚好能看见），密密麻麻的不停浮向水面。而煤质活性炭一般为大分子孔隙结构，所产生的气泡也相对较大。
活性炭使用注意事项：
1.使用前要清洗去除粉尘，否则这些黑色的粉尘可能暂时会影响水质的清洁度。但建议不要直接用新鲜的自来水冲洗，因为活性炭的多孔隙一旦吸附大量自来水中的氯以及漂白粉，在随后放置到过滤器中使用时对水质造成的破坏，相信勿需我多言。
2.靠平时简单的清洗，是无法将活性炭的多孔隙中堵塞的杂物清洁干净的。所以，务必定期更换活性炭，以免活性炭因“吸附饱和”而失去功效。且更换的时机最好不要等它失效以后再更换，如此方可确保活性炭能不断地把水族箱水质中的有害物质去除。建议每月更换1-2次活性碳
3.活性炭的处理水质的效率与其处理用量相关，通常为“用量多处理水质的效果也相对好”。
4.定量的活性炭被使用后，在使用初期应该经常观测水质的变化，并留意观测结果，以作为多长时间活性炭失效而更换的时间判断依据。
5.在使用治疗鱼病的药剂时，应该暂时将活性炭取出，暂停使用。以免药物被活性炭吸附而降低治疗效果。 6.活性炭在长期吸附有毒气体时要，经常拿出室外释放。如果长时间吸附会自已把吸附的有毒气体释放出来。活性炭本身不分解有毒气体，作用就像开窗，有毒室内最重要的还是要多多开窗。
